Hello Aspirant,

Congratulations on your CAT score.

Shortlisting on the basis of sectional cutoff isn't very usual for other colleges. Only some of the IIMs care about sectional cutoff, yet others even IIMs look for overall cutoff. You can even receive calls from baby IIMs like IIM Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Bodh Gaya and many others on the basis of your CAT score.

Yet, if you wish to apply to other institutions, you may apply at FMS BHU, MDI Gurgaon, GIMS Goa LIBA and many other good B-schools which accepts CAT score above 90 percentile.

So, don't worry much about the sectional cutoffs, You have decent chances of getting shortlisted.

Hope the information helps you.

All the best for admissions !

Thank-you!
