University of Allahabad conducts Law Faculty Admission Test (LFAT) to offer admission to aspirants in five year integrated BA LLB (Hons) course on offer at its FACULTY OF LAW. Law Faculty Admission Test (LFAT) is conducted at All India level by UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHABAD as per the guidelines prescribed by Bar Council of India (BCI).

LFAT 2018 is a paper-pencil based test which consists of objective type questions. The exam is known to comprise of three test papers. Allahabad University’s LFAT exam is of two and a half hour duration wherein candidates need to attempt a total of 250 questions.

LFAT is usually conducted in the month of May each year. As per official information brochure of LFAT exam, Allahabad University informs that on the basis of this exam, candidates are offered admission to fill 123 seats in BA LLB course offered at the university.

Candidates meet LFAT 2018 eligibility criteria if they fulfill the below mentioned requirements:

• Have cleared an examination in 10+2 or 11+1 course format from a school that is recognised by the Academic Council of the University or even if they possess academic qualifications which are considered to be equivalent to 10+2 or 11+1 courses by BCI (Bar Council of India)
• Have secured below mentioned aggregate marks in the qualifying examination
  GENERAL 45%, SC/ST 40% OBC 42%

  LLB HONS- general 142.50 and above, OBC- 131 and above, SC- 59 and above, ST- 52 and above

  BA LLB- General 145.50 and above, OBC- 110.00 and above , SC- 72.00 and above, ST- 00 and above.
