It's a type of unpredictable question but every year there are huge number of candidates appearing for the jee mains exam. Every year not less than 10L appear for the examination.

But as per the new changes in the number of attempts in JEE mains examination as per my knowledge the attempt number 2 will face lesser competition as compared to the other three attempts because at that time there would be the 12th board examinations.

However many of the candidates appearing in the first session and have scored good in the first attempt some of the candidates may not appear for the next sessions.
