The JEE Advanced syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with varying weightages for different topics.


Subject-wise Weightage

- Physics (25-30%): Mechanics (20-25%), Electricity & Magnetism, Modern Physics, Optics, and Thermodynamics.

- Chemistry (25-30%): Physical Chemistry (25-30%), Organic Chemistry (25-30%), Inorganic Chemistry (20-25%).

- Mathematics (35-40%): Algebra (25-30%), Calculus (30-35%), Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, and Vectors.


Topic-wise Weightage

Physics

- Mechanics: 36% (Rigid Body Dynamics, Centre of Mass, Fluid Mechanics)

- Electrodynamics: 28% (Electromagnetic Induction, Current Electricity, Capacitance)

- Modern Physics: 13% (Nuclear Physics, Modern Physics)

- Optics: 9% (Geometrical Optics, Physical Optics)


Chemistry

- Physical Chemistry: Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry

- Organic Chemistry: Hydrocarbons, Aromatic Compounds, Biomolecules

- Inorganic Chemistry: Periodic Table, Coordination Compounds


Mathematics

- Algebra: 25-30% (Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Matrices)

- Calculus: 30-35% (Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations)

- Coordinate Geometry: 15-20% (Straight Lines, Circles, Conic Sections)
