Hey Rishi
Yes this is somewhat right.
All syllabus are interconnected with each other.
Some topics are the base of other topics.
So they ask for that topics which can cover all the chapter and so they can check your knowledge.
They have only 30 questions to check you but syllabus is very vast of each subject.
So they ask important topics .
Some important topics like
Algebra
Calculus
Geometry

Electrostat
Optics
Current
Laws of motion
Rotational

Atomic structure
Chemical bonding
etc.

Hello rishi,
Yeah it was absolute correct ,22 percent of syllabus covers 71 percent of syllabus .
I suggest to go through still more papers so that  you can get to know the remaining percent of syllabus ,so that you will be get prepared good and get still more marks .

Chemical bonding ,is the very foremost important chapter .
And ,p block topics and coordination compounds .
D block concepts are very important
These are the important topics which covers inorganic
