If you are aiming for admission into IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs then yes, you need Central OBC certificate. These colleges take admission on national level and therefore need you to produce Central OBC caste certificate. however, some of your state government colleges will take admission on the basis of state OBC certificate too.
