Yes, you will be eligible to secure admission to Engineering courses in Maharashtra based on JEE Main score even if you are a dropper. The admission based on JEE Main score is done through MHT CET counselling. You must have valid JEE Main score that is if you are applying for admission for the academic year 2022-23 you need to have valid JEE Main 2022 score. And the score must be a non-zero positive score. The eligibility criteria to apply for MHT CET counselling is that you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and scored minimum 45% marks for candidates belonging to general category and all the candidate outside Maharashtra regardless of their category and minimum 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only in the above subjects taken together.
