Hope you are doing great ! JEE stands for joint entrance exam ,hence it is a exam through which you can get good colleges like nit ,iiit for engineering at low fees structure and good facilities ,if you qualify JEE mains with good percentile the you have to give JEE advanced slightly tougher than JEE mains for iit .You can give this exam in class 12 or two consecutive years after class 12.

Dear Aspirant,

No, you can't appear for the exam as this exam is the entrance for engineering and for this you have to have science in your 10+2 and as you are a student of MA you can't appear for it.
