Hello Aspirant.
As you've mentioned that you've scored 87.86 percentile in JEE main examination and assuming you from general category according to the formula
Rank=(100-percentile)*8690.10
You rank is around 1,05,480-1,05,500. At this rank it's really difficult for you to get any government college. You might get private colleges and try giving more Examinations like BITSAT UPTU VITEEE.
BEST OF LUCK !
Hello Deepak, As you have not mentioned any specific category,I am assuming you belong to General Class.If that's the case then looking at the previous year's cutoff,with this percentile you would not be able to qualify the exam and so would not be able to get admission in NITs or IITs.However,as your percentile is close to the cutoff,you might have a chance in CFTIs,GFTIs or IIITs.Admission in the stream Computer Science,requires a high score in any college,therefore,you might have to consider private colleges like Thapar Institute,UPES,etc if you just want CS. If you belong to SC,ST or OBC category,then you have definitely qualified the exam and can get Computer Science in lower NITs like NIT Srinagar,NIT Agartala,NIT Miazoram,NIT Meghalaya,etc or IIITs like IIIT Bhubneshwar,IIIT Bengaluru,etc.
