JEE Main 2020 qualified candidates will now only need to obtain a passing certificate in class XII examination irrespective of the marks obtained. Earlier, candidates required 75% marks in Class 12th to be eligible for admission. National Testing Agency will conduct JEE Main 2020 between September 1 to 6.

The exam has been postponed on account of COVID-19. The authorities had extended the last date to make corrections in the JEE Main application correction till July 20. Candidates were able to change their exam centres during this window. The facility was restarted on July 4. The original schedule of JEE Main was released on August 22, 2019 in online mode. The January session was held from January 6 to 9, 2020.

The registration process of JEE Main 2020 January session was commenced on September 3 and was open till October 10, 2019.
