hi, it completely depends upon your rank, if you are able to secure a rank between1to 20k, then you can get admission into top govt colleges like NSUT, DTU,NITs.

also fees depends upon the b.tech branch you have opted for, like CS, IT will have a slight higher amount, average fees may vary from 5 to 10 lakh for 4 year btech, excluding hostel facilities.

JEE Mains is the engineering entrance exam which held for admissions into various NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. It also serves as eligibility test for JEE Advanced. Many private and state government colleges also accept admission based on JEE mains rank.

The amount of money you would pay as fees depends on which college you could get. If you get admitted in NITs and your family income is below certain level or your belong to certain community then you could get fee reimbursement of upto 100%. So, the fee structure totally depends on the institute you get into.
