Hello,

Candidates must qualify their 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM from a recognized board for being eligible for JEE mains and yes NIOS candidates can also apply for this exam examination. However you cannot appear for jee mains because you don't have physics as subject which is compulsory for being eligible for jee.

Hello Abhishek Kumar,

In order to be eligible for answering JEE Mains, you need to have at least Physics and Mathematics along with either of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology subjects. Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects to answer this exam. Even if you belong to NIOS board with no Physics as your main subject, then you are not eligible for JEE Mains.

Hello aspirant!!
Candidates who completed their 10+2 from recognised board with compulsory Physics Chemistry and Mathematics subjects are eligible for JEE mains exam. Subjects like Biology , computer Science,etc are optional subjects for JEE Mains exam.
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from NIOS board with these subjects are also eligible for JEE Mains exam.
