look your general rank is not that good enough to get a good branch. but your reserved catagory rank is good enough and you will surely get a seat in round 4 or 5. you can get in silchar, bhopal, durgapur. i will suggest you to give suratkal, trichy also in the jossa counselling. there is only 0.1% chance of geeting there and that too in special round 2 only if seat is available. but you can get seat in the above mentioned vNITs.

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations for such a wonderful result.

It is a decent rank and yes you will be able to grab a seat in a NIT with a good branch as you also have a privilege of category so it will also help you in getting a good NIT.

Now it depends on the branch which you want to take as you can get a good NIT with a lower branch or a lower NIT with good branch.

You can get the computer science branch in the following NIT's

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar

Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal

This are some top NIT's where you can get admission in cs branch there are more NIT's where also you can get admission for cs branch.

So you can surely get a seat in NIT. You can also check the cutoff for last years for NIT's according to branch and category.

You can also use the college predictor

Further if you want to check cutoff for last years you can go to

Hope this helps you.

If any queries feel free to ask.

All the best!!

Regards.
