In 2014, Council of Boards of School Education(COBSE) in India has sent a document to JSOS asking them to furnish few more documents in order to grant the membership in COBSE. You can check the letter at: https://www.jsos.ac.in/cobse.aspx . However this is 2020 and there is no update ion it yet. It means the membership didn't come through because it is highly unlikely that they must have forgotten to upload the membership in the last 6 years. JSOS is registered under Government of Jharkhand. But there is another document uploaded in 2015 that says that there is no objection to admission in other Universities because COBSE has no control over the admission process. So considering all this, it can be concluded that JSOS is valid but again its validity is subjective to the University rules that you want to take admission in next.
