Grant Medical college is also a very  renowned college under state government of Maharashtra.
If you are looking for a college with an opportunity for undergraduate research work, paper presentation, assistantship, or doing pg abroad   then go for Jipmer. Jipmer students do extremely well in USMLE and Plab exam.

JIPMER  has a course which is exhaustive with the meticulous hours put into class followed by clinics. The degree examinations are very strict because jipmer is autonomous and they do not allow passing unless satisfied. As per Faculty, placements, Academics, Accomodation, Infrastructure it is an 8/10.

Grant Medical has great placements, If you are studying MBBS here, is no issue of placement. Everything depends on your skills, how great doctor you become. One can start his/her General Practice or prepare for Specialisation. For PG entrance there is good enough atmosphere for preparation.

With 50 acres of campus and great hostel facility, independent department buildings, huge but clean hospital, and green and clean campus. Grant Medical College offers everything in terms of infrastructure. Overall is an 9/10.
