After completing your engineering, as a fresher you have lot of opportunities to think upon:

1. You can do post graduation in your desired subject and complete your PhD or you can go for management courses.  After completing your masters, you can appear for exams like UGC NET and choose becoming professor.

2. If you want to do job then there are various opportunities-

• Qualify Civil services or other public sector examinations like UPSC, SSC, etc. and choose becoming IAS, IPS or anything you wish.
• You can qualify Indian Engineering services and work as an engineer in government sector.
• You can work in any private company, multinational companies as an engineer

3. If you want to leave your field and do anything else, then you can go for Entrepreneurship. You can go for your own startup and setup your own business.
