Kunchitiga are a community of people from Karnataka, India. They are concentrated mostly in Tumkur and the cities of Bangalore and Mysore. They are also found in the Chitradurga district. They are classified under the General/Unreserved Category by the Central Government of India. The "Kunchitiga" caste was included in the State List of Other Backward Class in Karnataka since 1977 and even in earlier orders of erstwhile Mysore State Government, under category 3A at SI.
