KCET Syllabus 2021 has been reduced as the syllabus for PUC I and II has gone through a reduction of 30% and few topics have been removed.

The exam pattern has been released along with the KCET bronchure. The mode of the exam will be pen-paper based in OMR sheets and will be divided into 4 sessions where Biology will be in Session-1, Mathematics in Session-2, Physics in Session-3 and Chemistry in Session-4. The medium of language for the exam will be English or Kannada. The total exam duration will be 1 hour 20 minutes for each session. Questions will be of MCQ type and there will be a total of 180 questions. 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in this exam.

KCET Physics Syllabus 2021 for PUC I :-Physical World, Units and Measurement, Motion in a Straight Line, Motion in a Plane, Laws of Motion, Work, Power and Energy, Gravitation, Mechanical Properties of Solid and Fluids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory, Oscillation, Waves.

KCET Physics Syllabus 2021 for PUC II :-Electric Charges and Fields, Current Electricity, Magnetism and Matter, Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves, Wave Optics, Atoms, Semiconductor Electronics.

KCET Chemistry Syllabus 2021 for PUC I :-Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, States of Matter, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, The s-Block Elements, Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons.

KCET Chemistry Syllabus 2021 for PUC II :-The Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Coordinate Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ether, Amines, Biomolecules.

KCET Mathematics Syllabus 2021 for PUC I :-Sets, Relations and Functions, Principle of Mathematical Induction, Linear Inequalities, Binomial Theorem, Sequence and Series, Limits and Derivatives, Statistics.

KCET Mathematics Syllabus 2021 for PUC II :-Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Matrices, Determinants, Continuity and Differentiability, Integrals, Differential Equations, Vector Algebra.

KCET Biology Syllabus 2021 for PUC I :-Diversity in the Living World, Structural Organisation in Plants and Animals, Structure and Functions, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology.

KCET Biology Syllabus 2021 for PUC II :-Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology in Human Welfare, Biotechnology, Ecology.
