Hey Farheen,
There are no reasoning questions in KVPY entrance exam,
The exam pattern involves :

It is a multiple choice type question paper.
The question paper will contain two sections: PART I & PART II each containing 4 sections.
In Stream SA all questions are compulsory to attempt.
In Stream SB/SX, there is an option to attempt any three sections in Part 1st and any two sections in Part 2nd

In Stream SA :-

Mathematics Part 1- 15 questions and Part 2 - 5 questions
Physics Part 1 - 15 questions and Part 2 - 5 questions
Chemistry Part 1 - 15 questions and Part 2 - 5 questions
Biology Part 1 - 15 questions and Part 2 - 5 questions

In Stream SB/SX :-

Mathematics Part 1 - 20 questions and Part 2 - 10 questions
Physics Part 1 - 20 questions and Part 2 - 10 questions
Chemistry Part 1 - 20 questions and Part 2 - 10 questions
Biology Part 1 - 20 questions and Part 2 - 10 questions
