Dear Mahesh, Polytechnic is equivalent to a diploma course. But MCA is a post graduation course. After Polytechnic, you can appear for lateral entry examination of your State and study 2nd year of Graduation like B.Tech in CS. Once you complete your B.Tech, you can study MCA. This is the normal procedure. But unfortunately right after Polytechnic, you cannot study MCA directly.
