The drug inspector is a lucrative career option for the candidates who have completed their bachelors in Pharmacy and have an minimum experience of 18 months in manufacturing field too. The exam is conducted in several steps like written exam is conducted in round 1. Round 2 consists of physical fitness test. Round 3 is a Viva round.

The governing and post alloting body is UPSC and various state level PSCs and UPSC conducts this exam every year.
