This year's JEE Advanced attempt will be considered your second attempt.

JEE Advanced allows only two attempts for candidates appearing in the 12th class examination and the year after that.
Your first attempt would be the year you appeared for your class 12th board exams and subsequently took JEE Advanced. Since you didn't qualify last year and took a drop year, this year's attempt is considered your second and final chance.

I have an important question related to my career that I studied Class 12 and finished it in 2023 and then I didnt write any entrance exam like JEE mains or advanced. So, I took a drop year to make it into NIT. Then, after taking drop year, I didnt qualify in mains. So, as well as I didnt qualify to write JEE advanced. So, I took another drop year. Its my second drop year now,in 2025. So, in the consecutive years after finishing my 12th , I didnt write any JEE advanced exam. So, am I eligible to write JEE advanced if I qualify JEE means in 2025?
