Last year I did not qualify for JEE Adv, so I took a drop and qualified this time. So, will it be considered my first jee adv attempt or second attempt?

This year's JEE Advanced attempt will be considered your second attempt.

JEE Advanced allows only two attempts for candidates appearing in the 12th class examination and the year after that.
Your first attempt would be the year you appeared for your class 12th board exams and subsequently took JEE Advanced. Since you didn't qualify last year and took a drop year, this year's attempt is considered your second and final chance.
