First of all dont be too stressed !
Not clearing or getting less marks in jee mains does not mean end of the world.
If you really want to persue engineering, join in any private college in your state and do your best.

Now, to enter into the college,  either you can write the respective university exam  .
Or
Through the management quota
Or
Through the jee mains score ( if the university/ college    allow so )

One thing I want to mention is that please try to take admission in the colleges with NAAC accredition and NBA accredition and approved by AICTE
You need to work relatively  harder  in private college as far as the placements are concernd , but thats the fun and you can really learn and develope yourself.
Afterall, in the end what matters is your approach towards your life .

AND if you want to consider other options , you can definately go for other courses as well.

You don't have to loose heart. 

There are many private colleges which provides admission through JEE Main. You have to apply seperately for the application form.
