In Maharashtra there is 8990 MBBS seat and 3440 BDS seats in different Medical College like 56 medical colleges and 37 dental colleges. Near about 30 private medical colleges are there in Maharashtra. All the seats are filled by the exams through NEET.

There is 15% all India quota and 85% state quota .

There there is 4330 government medical seats in Maharashtra. All the seats are filled up through NEET exam.

Last year in the round 2 counselling was for state quota of Maharastra. Number of seats left after the second round vary from the previous year number of seats left after the  second round. It depends upon number of qualifying student in neet exam appearing for second round counselling and have become successful.
