Hi aspirant,
There is no specific rule for mathematics. Every correct answer in the JEE paper 2 will carry 4 marks and every incorrect answer will give 1 negative mark. So if you are not going to answer a maths question, you will not going get any marks for that question. In JEE paper 2, aptitude, maths and planning sections are present. So prepare well to score well.

Greetings,
There's no minimum criteria of attempting questions in JEE Main and JEE Advanced. It is very much convenient to not attempt the questions you have doubt upon or the ones you don't want to attempt due to any other issues. It is completely candidate's choice to attempt any given question or not. The marks will not given for question left unattempted and negative marking for wrong answer. Please feel free to ask any other query. Good luck.
