Hello

Considering, you are an engineering aspirant and asking about admission to IITs. For admission to IIT, candidates need to clear JEE Main and then JEE Advanced exam.

Eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance exam is as follows-

Candidates should have scored at least 75% aggregate marks in 12th standard (or equivalent) examination.

For SC/ST/PwD, the aggregate marks should be at least 65%.


If you belong to the SC category, your aggregate marks should be 65 percent.

Number of attempts

JEE Main candidates can participate in the entrance exam for 3 consecutive years and JEE Advanced can be attempted a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
