It would be absolutely problem if you have not studied information technology or any programming language in your intermediate. Most of the people from the science background do not have such subjects and they still manage to excell in the college period. It Is always good to have some pre requisites about any particular subject as it helps in understanding things better but it is not at all compulsory. Generally after completing your 12th board examinations and before starting of the college, students have ample time of 1 to 2 months where one can learn the basics of programing.
