The admissions are based on the basis of KCET entrance exam .The Sri Basaveshwara Institute of Technology, a Premier Engineering College in the country, since its establishment in 2008. The SBIT is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Karnataka.
