Dear Krishnaraj,you haven't mentioned that for which institute you are talking about.You have also not mentioned that in which exam you have secured that rank.You should be clear before asking any query.Now,as you have mentioned that you are allotted with eee seat which is a not a core branch and by sliding you want ece which may be not possible as ece is in more demand in most of the engineering colleges.If any college has a eee department better than ece only than it can be possible that eee cut off are high.In general eee has lower cut offs.Also eee has less scope in IES so ece is preferred.
