It an incomplete question as you need to mention which NIT are you concerned about and also you didn't mention the rank. Different NIT's have different cut offs for CSE and also you have check that you fall in home state or other state category for that particular NIT. In general if you want the top NIT's like Trichy, Warrangal, Sutathkal, Allahabad your rank must be within 4000 for general category
