If you want to do any good in IIT JEE or any exam you need to limit your study material but do that material 100%.

For Maths:-

First, clear concepts than go through each and every solved example, in starting you will feel that you can solve these questions easily and tend to skip that question, but for clearing concept you should solve all that questions irrespective of time taken.

Some books in my point of view-

Problems in Calculus by Sameer Bansal .

Coordinate geometry and Trigonometry by SL Loney.

Algebra by Cengage publication.

For Chemistry:-

For chemistry, NCERT book is a must.

First Clear all your basic concepts from NCERT, after that for organic and inorganic follow Morrison and Boyd and JD Lee respectively but read only those topics which are mentioned in NCERT.

Books For problem-solving

Physical chemistry- N Avasthi,

Organic chemistry- M S Chauhan,

For physics:-

Clear concept deeply, try to learn behind the scene of all concept.

Try to Solve each and every question of HC Verma by your self.

Must attempt all previous year JEE questions.

All the very best and good luck.

  • Best Books for IIT JEE

Here is the list of books which you can refer to understand the topics and practice problems. These are the books recommended by teachers and IIT pass out students for the preparation of JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT or any other engineering entrance examination.

  • Best Physics Books for IIT JEE Preparation:

Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma

Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker

Problems in General Physics by I. E. Irodov

University Physics by Freedman and Young

No other subject requires more thinking than Physics.

After you read the NCERT Physics, the next step is to start studying from H.C. Verma's book. At the end of each chapter there are lots of questions graded in difficulty level. There should be an honest attempt to solve each of them.

Simultaneously, Halliday, Resnick and Walker's book must be started. Within each chapter of the book there are some conceptual questions and one must make an all-out effort to answer each of them. This book has very high reputation worldwide.

I.E. Irodov's book is one of the toughest books in Physics. It is very useful for problems in Mechanics and Electromagnetism for the IIT JEE Preparation.

  • Best Mathematics Books for IIT JEE Preparation:

Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight for Algebra

Coordinate Geometry by S.L. Loney

Differential and Integral Calculus by N. Piskunov

Calculus and Analytic Geometry by Thomas and Finney for Calculus

IIT Mathematics by M.L. Khanna

Course in Mathematics for IIT-JEE by Tata McGraw Hill publications

Problems Plus in IIT Mathematics by A Das Gupta

Trigonometry by S L Loney

Thomas and Finney's book is very basic but it's good for beginners starting out with Calculus. Very good geometrical interpretations of derivative etc. are there.

The books by Loney are all time international classics. Honest efforts should be made to solve the problems. The coordinate geometry book is really, really good. Many of the problems themselves are of IIT JEE standard.

Piskunov's book is basically a standard text book of calculus. It is important to solve challenging problems in Mathematics, one needs to practice as much as possible from the IIT Mathematics books by DasGupta and also by M.L. Khanna. There are a huge number of problems there.

  • Best Chemistry Books for IIT JEE Preparation:

Chemistry is divided roughly into a) General Chemistry with a huge emphasis on Physical Chemistry, b) Organic Chemistry and c) Inorganic Chemistry.

University Chemistry by Freedman and Young for Physical Chemistry

Organic Chemistry by Morrison and Boyd for Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry by Solomons and Fryhle for Organic Chemistry

Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J. D. Lee for Inorganic Chemistry

Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by RC Mukherjee

Hey, first of all, I would like to mention that for clearing any of the competitive exams, a sound knowledge of the basic concepts is a must and so inevitably NCERT's are the first book of preference.
Apart from NCERT, other books that you can follow are:-
PHYSICS
1. The concept of physics by H.C.Verma.
2. Understanding Physics Series by D.C. Pandey
CHEMISTRY
1. Organic Chemistry by OP Tandon
2.  Inorganic Chemistry by OP Tandon
3. Numerical Chemistry by P. Bahadur
4. The modern approach to chemical calculations by R.C. Mukherjee
MATHS
1. Class XII mathematics by R.D. Sharma
2. trigonometry and geometry by S.L. Loney

All the best!
