There are differences in both of these courses, both the courses are not similar in any way, in MCA one learns about general computer applications and ends up getting a technical post graduation degree which involves computer knowledge and is suitable for students who have completed their BCA degree, or BSC in computer science degree or BSC in IT degree, and MBA is a management degree that is good for the students who wants to learn managerial degree and are good at management, it is basically suitable for students who have done either BBA degree or even if they graduate in any of the field and want to learn managerial skills, or those who already possess some.

MBA means masters of business administration. So a MBA student learn how to manage any company and how growing the company. If you want to go for higher buisness manager or CEO or go for very good company then definitely go for MBA. And any MBA degree holder get a good salary scale.

Now MCA means masters of computer application. If you completed your BCA then you can go for this course. It's a good course and you can pay more than your graduation BCA degree. But you don't manage the company as a MBA student manage it.  You can developer for any company.
