Hey,
Admission to government medical colleges is either through 15 percent All India Quota and 85 percent State Quota. Under 15 percent All India Quota Seats,except Jammu and Kashmir,100 percent seats at deemed and central universities,IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges,seats of Armed Forces Medical Science are filled by DGHS. The 85 percent State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective  State Authorities.
There are three categories to admission in Private Medical colleges.Category A is the Government Quota Seats and only the candidates of the home states are eligible to apply for it. Category B is the Management Qouta seats and they are filled by contacting the College Administration directly. Category C is NRI Quota.
