 There are three different kinds of seats available in  Colleges across the country. 

All India Quota, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically handicapped, management quota. Home State Quota, the seats are reserved for candidates on their state of eligibility which is the state where they have completed their Class 11th and 12th. Depending upon the eligibility under relevant seat or quota, students get admission while considering the marks for qualifying exam through merit and merit is not considered for management quota.
