 students often opt for ME as it has a good scope as after this, you can appear for RRB exam to get into Railways for jobs. CDS also you can try for. You can apply for suitable positions in either Indian Navy/Air force/Army. One can also attend bank recruitment examinations. After B.E you can try for PO/Specialist Officer positions in banks. You can also attend PSU exams to get into public sector companies like BHEL, BEL, NTPC, ISRO, DRDO, etc. Apart from this, you can also appear for UPSC and SSC exams to enter other prominent government departments like Civil services, Income tax, Excise and Customs, CPO etc.

You can also try out in private Navy jobs which has a huge salary as well.
