To get seat in an NIT under EWS category your category rank must be below 7000. This give you a decent chance to get seat in NIT. With the rank that you have secured you do not have any chance to get seat in an NIT. If you want to get seat in an NIT then you have to take an year off and prepare for JEE Main 2023. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

If you want to get seat in any other institute accepting JEE Main then you may apply for the counselling conducted by the institute to secure admission. States like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh conducts state level counselling for admission to B.Tech based on JEE Main score. You may apply for the state counselling.
