Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is done through an entrance exam called JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test) .

• Students can apply in Class 6 .

• Some seats are also available for Class 9 and Class 11 through lateral entry tests.

• The application form is free and is usually released online by NVS.

• The exam is based on Mental Ability, Mathematics and Language .

• Admission is given only to those who clear the test and meet the eligibility rules.
