You may face difficulty while applying to a university or while giving any competitive exams as name on all the documents should be similar.Regarding applying for job,it depends on the company or the interviewer whether they accept it or not.

It is advised to update your name on the documents and your name on all the necessary documents should be similar.

For name-updation on class 10 certificate, first contact you school authorities.In case not rectified,then visit your zonal CBSE office Or State board office.
