When it comes to meeting the eligibility criteria of appearing for UPSC, candidates are required to attain 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year, you will attain 21 years on 6th October 2025, and that makes you eligible for UPSC 2026, the reason being in 2024 you will be 19 years old, and in 2025 you will be 20 years old as on 1st August of the appearing year respectively, apart from this you need to pass graduation from a recognized university, candidates in their final year too are eligible to apply provisionally provided they are able to show the proof of their qualifying examination within the stipulated time period as mentioned by the officials regarding this.
