The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in Kottayam offers a wide variety of courses in UG, PG and even PhD. There are courses like BSc, MSc, LLB, MTech, BTech etc.

For PG courses, admission is primarily based on MGU CAT exam which is university's own and for UG courses there is merit based seat allocation on 12th class marks.
