In order to get IITs you are advised to study really hard in terms gate preparation. IITs are the topmost institutes of India..

For this you have to be in top 500 at least . But it will be more helpful if you go for top 200. This will be more secured for you.

To get admission in IITs for Mtech with ST quota ,you need 350+ score in GATE.And for older IITs you need 500+ score.And for having such score you need 34+ score in GATE.
