Hy kabita,

Neet exam as neet is a very competitive exam because 15+ lakhs students appear in a single year and seats being only 75k approx (private+government) .

Getting mbbs has really become very tough  this days and getting bds is even not that easy.

People are left out with other options like bams, bhums, vetenary ,unani etc.

To get in bams, the neet cut off marks depends from state to state and also the ranking of college, no  of students applying, no. Of seats and mostly your category.

For bams, general category students atleast need 300+ marks in neet ug in any state and more than 400+ marks in state like delhi, chennai, bangalore as students are more in no.

For obc its slightly less than general but does not have much difference.

But for sc, st candidates its comparatively lower than general/ obc as students are lesser in this section. So student with 220+ marks can go for counseling and for state like delhi, bangalore you at least need 300+ marks.

Marks required are lower than mbbs or bds as many students dont opt for bams nd want mbbs only.

Hope you get what you want.

Thank you.
