Firstly, you must opt for Enginnering courses according to your interests. If you are interested in core you must go for ME, CE, EE, AEIE. But if you like computer fundamentals and IT go for CSE, IT, ECE.

However, the most popular Engineering courses as seen over the years are CSE , IT , ECE.

Some new branches are also introduced nowadays, like AI, Robotics etc. The future scope of these are also great as a lot of work is done in these fields.
