The most popular entrance exam for MSc Agriculture is ICAR AIEEA PG (Indian Council of Agricultural Research - All India Entrance Examination for Admission). This exam is conducted every year for admission into the top agricultural universities in India. ICAR-affiliated universities reserve around 25% of their PG seats for ICAR candidates, while the rest seats are filled by state-level candidates through their own entrance exams.

Other than ICAR, many universities conduct their own entrance tests. Like PAU (Punjab Agricultural University)and, GBPUAT (Pantnagar University) holds separate exams. Some universities also accept CUET PG, depending on their affiliation.

For these exams, you have to prepare from your graduation-level subjects, especially core topics like agronomy, soil science, genetics, etc. Once you qualify for the entrance, you will have to go through counseling rounds and document verification. Some universities may also conduct interviews or group discussions, but that depends on the institution.
