Hello Manaswini,

MBA or MSc?

No one can answer this question better than yourself.

Just sit and analyse yourself, that what are yoiy interest, is it with science,or business job or teaching and take decision accordingly.

Both have more or less equal opportunity.

Bright future is what you choose to make it.

Mostly,MBA have an edge but if you're an extraordinary in your Science field you are way par than them.

Hope it clears your doubt.

All the best.

Hello.

MSc is the most likely options a students choose after BSc, this courses enhances student technical expertise, solely focused on helping a student to gain the skill sets required to succeed in a specific area. The focus would be slightly more academic and theoretical, with a textbook and professor approach. Thus, it is more textbook oriented.

Where as Management courses is to develop in the candidate the ability to translate theory into practice. It aims at promoting an inquiring & analytical mind, which proactively seeks the right knowledge, acquires the appropriate skills and promotes the right attitude to develop capabilities needed to manage enterprises.

  • If you are very good at core subjects of Bsc or btech then you can choose MSc
  • If you want to become an entrepreneur then you have to crack CAT and do MBA only from reputed colleges Like IIMs else going for masters and starting you own business doestd make any difference.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

Hello Manasvi,

It all depends on what you want to become.

If you opt for MSc, it is above a bachelor’s degree and below a PhD degree. It is a 2 year duration 4 semester course which students can pursue after completing their graduation. Mostly you would have to write exams for it depending on the university. After the course the candidate could further their area of study by doing a PhD.

If you opt for MBA then you would get managerial positions, to get into a college with MBA various entrance exams are to be given. It is pursued after bachelor’s degree. Depending on the college the various exams to be written are CAT, GMAT, etc. You could apply for various IIM's, XLRI, BITS, etc. like b schools. The average salary one receives is around 15 to 16 l p.a.

I would suggest MBA, if you want to be at a managerial position  .

All the best!
