Master of law or LLM is a two-year postgraduate course in the field of law whereas MTech is a two year professional postgraduate engineering course.The salary package which you get depends more on the college from which you pursue the course in both the cases. Also, in Mtech and LLM, the specialization from which you pursue it. The average salary after completion of llm is around 5 lakhs and that of Mtech is around 4 lakhs pa.
