You get an EWS reservation rank only after you apply for this EWS reservation by submitting your Annual family income certificate. You have to select the option of EWS at the time of registration form filling. Them only you get an EWS rank.

But, you haven't filled a YES fir EWS during the time of form filling, then you won't get an EWS rank.

If you have only got the AIR and not your EWS rank, then you would have either not selected YES for EWS reservation or there must be a problem in your other details like income certificate, etc  instead.

The authorities provide the EWS rank and not others.
