During application filling there might be a space to fill up the category details. If you had given your category there then you can use it. If you have not given the details then you can't use your category.

You are not supposed to apply for the category differently. Please check the application form if you have filled the form with your categorical details or not.

If you have done then you will get your categorical rank in your mark sheet.
