According to the SSC MTS 2025 eligibility criteria, candidate must be between 18 and 25 years old, which means he/she should be born between 02/08/2000 and 01/08/2007.
So, if your Date of birth is 05/09/2007, then you are not eligible for the SSC MTS EXAM 2025.

There are two age categories depending on the post:

1. 18 to 25 years (for most MTS posts)

Born between 02-08-2000 to 01-08-2007

2. 18 to 27 years (for select posts like Havaldar in CBIC)

Born between 02-08-1998 to 01-08-2007

Your DOB: 5 September 2007

You will turn 18 years old on 5 September 2025

If SSC MTS 2025 notification mentions cut-off date as 1 August 2025 (as it did in 2023 and 2024), then:

Not Eligible for SSC MTS 2025

Because you will be 17 years 10 months on 1 August 2025.

You will be eligible for:

SSC MTS 2026 (next cycle), since you’ll be 18+ before the cut-off date
