my board percentage in 1st year is 98.6 percent in Andhra Pradesh board ,should I focus on board exams or jee mains to get good college?

Jee mains gives admission through the rank you are getting in their exam.Boards marks are required but they won't play any role with you as if a student getting 99% marks in boards and 60k rank in jee mains will not get any good government college when compared with another student getting 80% marks and 5k rank in jee mains.

98.6% it's a great percentage. Coming to question there are a few colleges who take admissions on the basis of intermediate percentage like sastra  ( 30%  seats )  .But based on jee there are many colleges in India. There is no inter percent weightage in mains. So in my view you should give more preference to jee mains than board exams. But don't ignore board exams totally. Wishing you a bright future.
